The Shakatak

The Shakatak was built and opened in the year 1990. Already after short time the Shakatak developed to the popular meeting place of many holiday-makers and other guests. Shakatak is not only a Disco, but a successful mixture from beer garden, Snack bar, restaurant, night club and Disco.

Since opening the Shakatak is in German ownership.

Beer garden and kitchen

In the beer garden outside of the building we maintain you with Oldies and also with German music in pleasant volume. At our beer garden bar you receive a rich selection to on cool beverages. If you like it completely coldly, you can seize with us calmly into the ice excavator bucket. We in the Shakatak, and only in the Shakatak prepare our ice for you from pure mineral water.

Our kitchen offers some also in such a way. If you are times tired with your 'hotel meal', or if you should miss the German kitchen... we cook for you spezial german meals. Also smaller meals, like Fleischspiesse, Hamburger, Curry sausage some specialities from Kenya etc. receive you with us. We prepare nearly all our meals on charcoal grill.

Most recently, there is the Safari Grill, or even at the Pizza Corner to start all strengthened to make the evening.

In our beer garden you can see each evening the newest sport results or also features live on a majority canvas. With the Second Channel of German Television we are able to show daily messages, features or current sport broadcasts in German language.

Disco

2012 / 2013, the years of reconstruction.

We have extended the nightclub to a impressive laser show.

2020 We are expanding Shakatak.

The Shakatak is expanded with another Bar. Soon you can visit "Bamboo Bar".

In the Disco, which is opened daily starting from 21.oo clock, our DJ's works hot. Newest music and modern light effects are natural must. The Disco, in which occasionally also Live shows are organized, is naturally fully air-conditioned.

Also for your safe way home to your hotel is ensured. Before the house several taxis are available for you, which drive you to a niedriegen price of transportation back into your hotel.
